In response to Jessica’s blog war declaration, animals photographed unusually, I present:

The series Animals Are Outside Today by Colleen Plumb, “examines the intersections between humans and animals, studying how animals are woven through the fabric of culture.” Colleen began this project “looking at fake nature, considering how substitutions for nature might satisfy people.” She says, “Looking deeper I began photographing real animals, investigating how they provide intangible links to a deeper world of instinct and rawness.”
